"The Backstroke of the West" makes me think of American relativism for some reason ...
Pope Benedict should make that the title of his next (first) encyclical. With my minimal knowledge of Latin (about four weeks of it), I came up with: Retrofluto Occidui. That sounds too funny to be correct.

WARNING: There is a bit of obscenity that somehow came out of the Chinese translation, but overall it's hilarious. They must think we swear a lot ... what would give them that idea? ... cough ... Hollywood ...
