From the writer of "Interview With The Vampire" comes ...

... Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt.

Apparently, Anne Rice has returned to the Church. I'm happy for her, even if her book sounds a little shady. Shady - as in based on apocryphal stories of Jesus. However, there is a place for imagination in fiction as long as it doesn't go against the Truth of Jesus, that He is the Son of God.

I listened to the audio excerpt. It was alright ... kind of cheesy, but raises interesting questions. Did Jesus know He was God all of His life? What happened in His childhood?
We've talked about that in a few of my classes, but there's no clear answer. What we do know is that Jesus was fully God and fully man. He has a human nature and a divine nature, all in one person. What that means for how His conciousness worked, I have no idea.

Any thoughts?
