Happy Reformation Sunday!

my brother: played at a lutheran church this morning
my brother: haha
my brother: for reformation sunday
mike w gossett: hahaha. that's hilarious. what was that like?
my brother: well i told my friends and some protestants were like, "o its not a big deal blah blah they dont even care" ....yea we get there..."o and it's reformation sunday" and the pastor was like " I'm glad to see everyone wearing red today"
my brother: and the organist was like
my brother: "are u lutheren?" no "well today is reformation sunday, the day that we split from the catholic church (in a whisper), are u catholic?" yes *awkward silence*

On a more serious note, the fracturing of the Body of Christ is a sad thing. I see non-catholic Christians as brothers and sisters no matter how much joking I do and hope that someday we will fulfill Jesus's prayer at the Last Supper:

I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. (John 17: 20 - 21)
