The 2005 Propaganda Awards!

Best Song:
"All These Things That I Have Done" by The Killers
For creating a song that is anthemic, catchy, and easy to sing along to. The whole album (Hot Fuss) is good, but this is the best.
Best Band:
Relient K
For getting hugely famous. They will forever be one of my favorite bands, whether they're famous or not. Get all their albums.
Best Album (I couldn't decide. Here's the top ... four):
1. X & Y by Coldplay - Sheer brilliance.
2. Demon Days by Gorillaz - Sheer weird creative brilliance. I love it more every time I listen to it.
3. From Under the Cork Tree by Fall Out Boy - Pop-punk brilliance.
4. Nothing is Sound by Switchfoot - Once again, an album that just works as a whole. They haven't let me down yet.
Best New "Scary" Christian Music
(Yes, it gets its own category)
:
And The Rest Will Follow .... by Project 86 - Beautiful. That's all I can say. One of my favorite CDs.
Catch for Us the Foxes by mewithoutYou - Same as above. Just give it a try.
Best Live Performance (though I didn't see all that many):
Everyday Sunday at Ashland University
Best Movies:
1.Batman Begins - It's moral, exciting, and cinematically beautiful.
2.Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - My favorite of the books, they did an awesome job with the movie, especially the tragic, dark parts.
(You have no idea how much it hurts me not to put The Lion, The Witch ... in here. King Kong might fit too, I'll let you know when I see it.)
The "Rocks My Face Off" Award:
Pope Benedict XVI! JPII the Great, pray for us!

You may have started a franchise. I might start doing this in my blog too.
