... that I haven't really posted anything on the March for Life in particular or the pro-life cause in general, but I really feel that I don't have anything new to say here. All of the research you need is easily available online.
The truth is the truth; there isn't anything that can change the fact that abortion kills a person.
It is the greatest civil/human rights violation in the history of mankind and our country allows it. I know, most of the world is well past the stage of debating the legitimacy of abortion, but as a US citizen, I think the we owe ourselves more. This country was founded on some high moral standards and abortion undermines all of them.
If the right to life is ever fully applied and embraced, I do not think history will treat us kindly.
So what can we do? There are neverending amounts of ways to help, but I think the underlying battle we must fight is one about human dignity. Is a human person really worth something? It will take an alliance philosophy, science, and politics to change the society we live in, but we can all start by spreading the truth in our own lives. The first step is prayer. We must never stop asking God to help us and soften the hearts of those who believe the lies that control our society. It is the most important "cause" you can take part in.
Burn a fire in our hearts,
for the battle at hand.
4,400 babies die each day.
ABORTION MUST END!
