Movie Night!

We watched:

Underworld - Pretty good. It's not your typical "vampire underground" movie. The backstory was pretty cool and there were some good plot twists to go along with interesting characters. What most impressed me was that they did not resort to the usual "vampire movie = lots of sex scenes" technique (it looks like they're doing just that with the sequel, at least that's how it looks from the previews). There were some cool fight scenes as well.

Transporter 2 - Though this one had some amazing action scenes it lacked a bit in the acting department. Most of the characters (especially the villians) were extremely superficial. I thought the best part of the movie (besides the insane fight sequences) was how the main character had some morals. Yes, he killed lots of people ... but he did show some admirable respect to the woman he worked for and had a sort of single-minded devotion to saving the kid and doing the right thing.
