A man who fails to love the Mass fails to love Christ. We must make an effort to "live" the Mass with calm and serenity, with devotion and affection. And this is why I have always suspected that those who want the Mass to be over with quickly show, with this insensitive attitude, that they have not yet realized what the sacrifice of the altar means.

Thanks for the encouragement Christopher. I don't know about "worshipping the mass" but I would say that it should be our highest act of worship.
That's a great quote! I think its very true... that those who want the mass to be over quickly do not yet realize what the sacrifice means... I've always thought it was extrememly obvious, but, really, its a great quote to pass along to those who do have that attitude; the majority may not realize that they are missing something and this quote may trigger their search for the real meaning of the sacrifice of the altar which they've been missing. Just a thought.
