Despite the evils that go on in the US ...
... abortion, advocating torture, and rampant materialism, we should be thankful that we don't have military coups. I don't think we can even comprehend democracy not working.
don't forget though that a millitary coup in Spain in the 1930's litterly saved the lives of all the Bishops, Priests, Nuns, and Monks, from certain execution at the hands of communists.

Good point ... I'm just talking about random government changes. I'm glad that there is a pretty good amount of stability.
