My fall is broken.

I went home for Fall Break on friday. That's why I haven't posted at all.

That day, I went home and saw my parents and Smokey the dog. Then I headed up to Franciscan to visit with my sister and Josh. I spent the rest of the night in Mingo, playing the fancy new Monopoly and seeing Joe and Renee's new house (and dog).

On saturday, I rode to the CCHS game in Bellaire with Finney. We watched Central get beaten badly in football and rule in band and then went back north to Steubenville. After going to mass at St. Peter's (my home parish), my brother (who had arrived home early that morning) and I went to Tim Horton's with Joe, Laura, and Billy. There we talked about stuff, drank hot chocolate/other hot drinks and made fun of Surfjeans.

Then we went to Franciscan to watch them unveil their new basketball teams/pep band/mascot. It was nuts. I've never been to a weirder pep rally. There were people painted green and gold, guys carrying around fans, and lots of yelling. They also had the entire place singing and dancing to the "Numa Numa" song. We finished the night at Eatin' Park where we talked about who would win this epic battle: a dragon or a unicorn.

Sunday was spent taking my brother back to Ashland and then riding back. That night, I went and visited the guys at the Diocese of Steubenville's Holy Name House of Formation. I got to see my bishop and vocations director and then went out to eat with Matt, Ryan, Vince, Tom and Ed. Good times. Seminarians from Steubenville should get to hang out more often.

On monday, I went to mass at FUS, ate at the library, prayed in The Port, and went home. Finally, in the evening I went to a talk on manhood by Dr. Lee and then hung out eating Oreos and drinking Jones Soda with Josh.

And now ... I am back at seminary! Time flies, but all is good.
