Recent days ...

... have been busy. As I said before, my bishop came on sunday, and on monday, presided at the institution of acolytes. The mass was beautiful. There were a bunch of priests there (including Msgr. Campbell from Marietta where I was assigned for the summer) and the music (provided by those of us in the schola cantorum) was awesome (if I say so myself). It was great to see the guys who were instituted take another step towards the priesthood. Afterwards, we all hung out at a reception and I got to meet various family members and see lots of people.

Last night we had an All Hallow's Eve movie night. The film was the always good and creepy The Silence of the Lambs. To add to the fun, one of the deacons here was actually in the movie (as a cop in the West Virginia funeral home) and he made a guest appearance at the party, telling us some interesting things about the making of the movie.

Today, there are no seminary classes in honor of All Saints Day, however, I do have one college class in a few minutes. Darn.
