Illumination.

In St. Vincent's college chapel (Mary, Mother of Wisdom Chapel), they have hymnals with some interesting art on the front and back covers. At the bottom of the back cover it says "illuminations from the St. John's Bible." I've always wondered what that was and meant to look it up. I finally remembered, so I'm sharing it with all of you:


St. John's Abbey and University has commissioned a handwritten Bible. Their site has all the information, so check it out. It's quite interesting.
