First, music for one apartment and six drummers. Awesome.
Second, a bunch of live songs from My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade (be forewarned that there is a little bit of swearing ... only in one song I think):
"Dead!"
"Famous Last Words"
"I Don't Love You"
"Cancer"
"Welcome to the Black Parade"
and their very cool video from their previous album: "Helena"
Yes, they're all kind of dark, but I really like their music. As Cow said somewhere, "They are definitely emotional, and dark, and a very interesting kind of pop-punk-metal, but more importantly, they have songs which are really *really* catchy and rockin' [and] have at least a vaguely discernable message of hope in the midst of suffering ..."
Finally, here is 30 Seconds to Mars' video for "The Kill." It's a pretty creative take off of The Shining.
There's your depressing music video fix for the day. I know that, in at least my case, many of my favorite songs are darker ones. They just happen to be the ones that are more authentic. However, I do listen to FIF and Relient K ... so how angry and morbid can I be?
