Chanting the genealogy of Jesus

Tonight, for the Vigils of the Immaculate Conception, my friend Deacon Mike had to chant the genealogy of Jesus from Matthew 1. To get some inspiration, we looked it up on YouTube to see if there were any videos of people singing it. Here are some examples:

1. The classic Latin. Very nice.

2. Or you could do it with banjo.

3. Or ... you could do it a different way with a banjo.

Is YouTube telling us that the best way to sing this Gospel passage is to sing it with a banjo?
