I used some of the time to read and also practiced the three songs I'm singing at the Mardi Gras fundraiser with another seminarian. Our set is comprised of my song, "Sing It, Ohio" (in a wonderfully lower key) Sufjan's "For the Widows in Paradise ..." and another original "22," making it's world debut. I will be fun to sing some of this stuff in front of an audience for the first time.
In other news: Congrats to my sister on acceptance to grad school! And congrats to my college roomate, Gabe, and his wife Steph on expecting a baby! Crazy times.
