stealth spring break

Yesterday morning, I decided to come home for spring break after my night class. I don't have any classes on Fridays (the college and seminary ended up closing early anyway).

I packed my car before class. Fortunately, we finished a little early and I was able to get going pretty quickly. The roads were fine - it was just a bit windy.

When I got home, I called my sister and acted like nothing was afoot as I creepily crept into our house. Smokey the dog heard me as soon as I came out of the kitchen.

It was a good surprise.

Now it's snowing a lot. I went to Mass at FUS and I plan on using the rest of the afternoon to A. pick up my allergy shots B. work on my talk for the retreat at MUC tomorrow and possibly C. go to stations of the cross.

I just hope the snow lets up. After the retreat tomorrow, I'm planning on venturing to Cleveland to see some college friends. I'll spend the night up there, stop my a Benedictine abbey to visit a classmate and then head home.

Pray for good(er) weather!

I did a stealth surprise to my mom and almost gave her a heart attack.
