just a bunch of stuff

1. Akinator, the Web Genius - I've tried this several times and it's only been (slightly) wrong once.

2. www.nooooooooooooooo.com - "Press in dire situations."

3. From Bad Language (which looks like an interesting site overall): How I trained myself to get up earlier.

House concerts are the growing trend in many areas, more specifically the Midwest. With the economy giving people a hard time, independent musicians are finding it increasingly harder to get good, paying gigs. Along with that, fans are having an increasingly harder time making sense of purchasing an $80 ticket to see a musician that appears to be 2 inches tall. What’s the solution to this growing problem? Bring the musician home with you!
...
Regardless of the location, number of people, or amount of food, house concerts are a fantastic way to get to know your friends, neighbors, and family! Not only is it a great bonding experience for the host(s) and their guests, it’s a cultural experience for everyone involved. It’s an easy way to help promote your favorite artist and enjoy an intimate concert with them.
5. A really cool APOD: Sunrise Solstice at Stonehenge.
