tour de force

1. Sufjan is touring this fall. I hope that means that a new album will be coming out soon.

2. I had the privilege of seeing Paul McCartney in concert on Thursday.

It was an impressive show. He played for a solid three hours and the set included songs I would not have imagined he would play live ("A Day in the Life," "Paperback Writer," "Live and Let Die" [check out the video]). This review has the set list from the night before. It is almost the same when we were there.

We (my friend Fr. Dan and I) were given some amazing seats by some generous parishioners of his and it made the show that much cooler.

He's a Beatle! You don't get to see that concert too often.
