when are you not busy?

Life has been flying by for me.

Here's what's been happening:

- Last weekend I got to baptize for the first time. I actually baptized three kids (two brothers and a sister). It was intimidating but amazing - just to know what happened to those kids as I said the words and poured the water. One of them was six years old, so he had a decent understanding of what was going on and will, hopefully, remember the event.

- I came home on this past Tuesday for our Thanksgiving break. It was great to be home and spend time with friends and family. There was long conversations at Tim Horton's, Thanksgiving dinner at our house, Harry Potter 7 with family, preaching at my home parish and the Vigil for All Nascent Human Life (celebrated by our bishop. I served as deacon). Advent began.

On a sadder note, my grandmother passed away this morning, so please pray for her and our family.

There are now only two weeks of class left in this semester. In that time I'll do some more preaching, here and in the parish; deacon at a good friend's wedding and, of course, get some work done for class.
