A satisfying end.

On Friday, a big group of us watched the final episode of Battlestar Galactica. Personally, I loved it. I thought the ending that they came up with really tied up the series and gave fulfilling explanations of many of the mysteries of the show. Even the things that weren't completely explained were finished in a good light, leaving enough mystery to let you keep thinking about them.

BSG was definitely the best show I've ever seen and, really, the first show I've ever enjoyed enough to follow consistently. Not everything that happened in the show was good, but it portrayed the fallen nature of humanity and our constant struggle to rise above it. God was definitely involved, even when it wasn't obvious.

In closing, here's a live version of the awesome Bear McCreary/BSG version of "All Along the Watchtower" performed at the composer's birthday party by his brother's band.
