Clearing my bookmark folder.

I've been slacking on the blog front lately, so ...

1. The Mass is Serious Business
Priests and pastors cannot expect the lay faithful to take their Sunday obligation seriously unless they offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in a reverent and serious manner. If priests want them to take it seriously, they must show them that it is serious business! When the lay faithful see the priests taking Sunday Mass seriously, it will rekindle in them a sense of the seriousness of their obligation.
2. Economic survivalists take root
When the economy started to squeeze the Wojtowicz family, they gave up vacation cruises, restaurant meals, new clothes and high-tech toys to become 21st-century homesteaders. Now Patrick Wojtowicz, 36, his wife Melissa, 37, and daughter Gabrielle, 15, raise pigs and chickens for food on 40 acres near Alma, Mich. They're planning a garden and installing a wood furnace. They disconnected the satellite TV and radio, ditched their dishwasher and a big truck and started buying clothes at resale shops.
And here's their blog.

3.Incredible pictures of Saturn.

4. Beard Head - the greatest advance in winter headwear in my lifetime.

5. Not surprising considering the non-stop flow of climate change/global warming/going green stuff paired with our cultural obsession with disaster movies: One in Three Children Fear Earth Apocalypse.

6. Get your soul clean with the SoulWow - fantastic piece of Catholic parody.
