Actually, the weirdest thing about knowing people like Scott Hahn isn't how astounding they are in person, it's more like...
"Oh, yeah, he's pretty cool. Nice mustache."
Not to say his books and stuff aren't great, but he's not like this brilliant, impressive, witty presence when you meet him in real life. He's just a regular dude.
He was pretty normal but his teaching was very good. The weirdest part was that he had a photographer taking pictures during class ... no idea why. Maybe publicity.
He's just a very bright man who is on fire for God and the Church.
