The Good Pelican Recording Session

A video of my friend Dan and I recording our original song, "The Good Pelican," in the seminary chapel. A bunch of us a are contributing music to a seminary CD.

This was my first time recording music on something more than my computer's microphone and I really enjoyed it. It's kind of intense hearing every note you play and word you sing in the headphones, but it's also really cool to not have to overplay or worry about being heard.

I love recording studios - the microphone and playback is EXTREMELY honest, but that is good every once in a while. It gives you an accurate reading on where to imrpove in your playing.
